The tradition of the Baltic Book Fair began in 1995, with the first book fair being held in Tallinn. Now, the event takes place every year, hosted in rotation by the three Baltic countries. In 2007 Estonia had the pleasure of welcoming book lovers in Tallinn, at Saku Suurhall, May 17 – 19. 
Altogether 50 companies participated at the fair representing more than 300 publishing houses.8900 people visited the Baltic Book Fair 2007 during the three days.
